VDAB Training cheques are a financial aid tool designed by the Flemish Government. It provides funding to employees or temps who live in Flanders or in the Brussels Capital Region and wish to enroll in a training course.
The Flemish Government covers half of the total cost of each training course, the candidates provide the other half themselves.
The maximum annual amount of the training cheques is 250 EUR.
A concrete example: if a course registration fee is 120 EUR, then one should purchase cheques for 120 EUR. The value of the cheques differs: there are 5, 10 and 25-euro cheques available. The Flamish Goverment covers half of the total amount of the cheques and the candidates the remaining half. Thinking of the above example: it means that one has to cover only the outstanding half of 60 EUR.
How to order the cheques?
