At Lerian, we strive to make our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We are aware that our website currently does not fully comply with all accessibility guidelines and we are taking steps to improve this.
What does digital accessibility mean?
Digital accessibility means that everyone can use our website, regardless of age, ability or disability. Think of people with a visual, auditory, motor or cognitive disability.
Current status of accessibility
We acknowledge that our website currently does not fully comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) level AA. Possible bottlenecks include:
- Some images do not have alternative text.
- Not all buttons and links are clearly labeled for screen readers.
- The color contrasts are insufficient in some places.
- Keyboard navigation is not yet possible everywhere.
What are we doing about it?
We are actively working on improving the accessibility of this website. The following actions are being taken:
- Have an accessibility scan performed.
- User testing with tools such as screen readers.
- Training our developers in accessibility principles.
- Implementing step-by-step adjustments in collaboration with experts.
