Our mission

Lerian-Nti strives, while relying on its longstanding experience, to provide added value, high quality language services to companies and organizations. Above all, Lerian language training programmes inform, teach and inspire.

Lerian-Nti aims at becoming one of the most creative and innovative language institutions in Belgium. Efforts already acknowledged by Belgian and international businesses and organizations.

Lerian guarantees maximum quality for its face-to-face language programmes, for its virtual classrooms, e-learning package, language tests and daily administrative and business communication with its clients HR managers.

Founding, background and structure

Lerian-Nti is the end product of the merger between two companies: Lerian Communications and The Dutch Language Institute (het Nederlands Taalinstituut). The merger took place on January 1, 2005. Lerian Communications was founded in 1993 and right from the start devoted its efforts to organizing language training programmes for both companies and non-profit organizations. The Dutch Language Institute or NTI languages was founded in 1983 and specialised in language education for private and non-corporate clients.

Finally, the two organizations merged in a new partnership: Lerian-Nti Languages nv.

Lerian-NTI offers work possibilities to more than 200 freelance language coaches. Each of the main languages – Dutch, French, English and German, is represented by its own department. The respective Heads of Departments are in charge of the school’s diverse pedagogical activities: the instruction of new language coaches, language programme preparation, etc. Our marketing team is responsible for Lerian’s long term clients and for the finding of new ones. Additionally, the school employs six coordinators who handle the practical organisation of the training modules: from the initial offer to the monitoring of the courses. The coordinators represent ‘a single contact point’ in our relationship with the clients. Three other employees take care of the technical support, logistics, photocopying, room reservation, reception, purchasing and accounting.

Lerian-Nti international

Since the beginning of 2007, Lerian Nti has had a partnership agreement with LINGUAPHONE in France. This partnership fosters the exchange of knowledge of training methods, and involves shared investments in new technologies.

Qfor

Client satisfaction: Qfor

Lerian – Nti Languages is annually evaluated on its client-satisfaction rate by an external organization – Management Information. The school’s latest audit report, dated September 2015, revealed a remarkably high percentage of client satisfaction. As a result, Lerian-Nti Languages was awarded the Qfor quality label.

The Qfor quality label is a European quality standard especially developed for the needs of the training and consultancy market. The label could be obtained only by companies with a client satisfaction rate of at least 80 % or higher.

This synopsis is based on the answers given by the Lerian-Nti’s clients during a survey conducted by the auditor. The results below are representative for the period between July 1st 2014 and June 30st 2015. The completeness and authenticity of the school’s client list was checked and confirmed by the auditor as well.

  • Number of clients selected and interviewed by the auditor: 18
  • Actual survey period: between August 20th 2015 and September 6th 2015

The outcome of the audit showed that the school’s clients are satisfied or completely satisfied with Lerian-Nti and its services.

Overall, the school and its training activities met the high requirements of the Qfor Client Scan.
