Course on how to write effective business letters and e-mails in Dutch.

'Business writing in Dutch': the objective of the course is to train you to write effective business letters and e-mails using the correct structure.

During the training, you will become familiar with the official standards (NBN) for writing in Dutch. You will learn to distinguish the different parts of a letter / e-mail and to adapt your communication to the target group.

We will develop your writing skills through a large amount of writing assignments in which you can apply the acquired knowledge. A support with useful formulae and a summary of common spelling mistakes will be handed to you during the training.

Target group

Employees who often need to write professional letters or e-mails in the target language. Candidates should have a minimum level of 3/5 ALTE – B2 CEF.

At the start of the Dutch course, you receive access to our online e-learning platform where you will find weekly exercises tailored to your language level.

You’ll also have access to the e-lexica, where you can practice specific business vocabulary through a series of drills (e.g. EU terminology, financial terminology, HR terminology, IT terminology, legal terminology, marketing terminology, negotiating terminology, telephone expressions, etc.).
